The City of Richland’s City Clerk is a board-appointed position. The City Clerk is responsible for all Official Records for the City. The Clerk preserves the Municipal Minutes, Ordinances, and all permanent records including contracts, orders, resolutions, and public hearings. The City Clerk is responsible for Privilege Licensing, Purchasing, Payroll, Personnel Records, Voter Registration, and Elections. The City Clerk serves as auditor of the Municipality and keeps financial records in accordance with the Office of the State Auditor.

Call and ask for, or come speak with, the City Clerk at Richland City Hall, by 12:00 Noon on the Friday before the scheduled Board Meeting.
Voter Registration:
Upon reaching the age of 18, you may register to vote at Richland City Hall, Monday-Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. If you wish to receive a registration card the same day you register to vote, you must go to the Rankin County Court House in Brandon. For more information, call (601) 825-1466.
